CURRENT DEVELOPMENT VECTOR

Project Roadmap.

Fracture Keepers is now moving toward a third-person sci-fi shooter built around gun feel, class identity, mission flow, and persistent progression.

PRIORITY Prove The Gunplay

Infrastructure is already substantial. The next milestone is proving that movement, aiming, firing, hit response, and combat rhythm are fun.

CURRENT PRIORITY

Third-Person Gunplay Prototype

Status: Next core gameplay milestone.

Build one working firearm around responsive aiming, authoritative damage, ammunition, reload behavior, recoil, muzzle feedback, hit confirmation, and strong enemy reaction.

The first test does not need a beautiful enemy. It needs a target that makes every successful shot feel clear and satisfying.

ROADMAP ITEM NEXT

First Fracture Combat Zone

Status: Planned.

Create the first mission map that connects the existing account, character, town, Runtime, and progression systems to an actual combat deployment.

The target loop is town → deploy → fight → objective → rewards → return.

ROADMAP ITEM

Keeper Class Abilities

Status: Planned.

Turn the existing eight-character roster into eight battlefield classes with distinct skills and combat identities: Assault, Bulwark, Engineer, Recon, Demolition, Mobility, Support, and Fracture Specialist.

Appearance remains part of each Keeper's identity, but class function and build choices are the main reason to choose one.

ROADMAP ITEM

Enemy Faction Prototypes

Status: Planned after gunplay foundation.

Prototype two readable enemy families: unstable anomalous organisms and hostile humanoid forms. Start simple, then spend visual and animation effort where it directly improves combat feedback.

Enemy quality will be judged first by readability, reactions, attack behavior, and how good they are to shoot.

Community Forum

Status: Online and functional.

The forum uses the same Fracture Keepers account identity as the game and is being expanded alongside development.
